PROPOSAL Chase began looking into telehealth vendor Avel eCare's emergency service line for the ED after one of the hospital's APPs came to Cyboron with a video about the technology and service and said they loved the idea of having someone live to help with questions.
For example, in Florida, Avel eCARE partnered with EMS workers to help get Regeneron delivered to homebound patients. As part of the government-funded program, Avel eCARE also provided critical care consulting to a small community hospital that was inundated with COVID-19 patients.
Telemedicine technology and services vendor Avel eCare recently launched its inaugural annual Customer Forum and Innovation Summit focused on driving innovation in virtual care. Healthcare IT News sat down with Doug Duskin, Avel eCare's chief executive, to get a debriefing on the conference and find out the major themes and learnings.
And in so many cases, this was Zoom – a video conferencing technology that today practically everyone is familiar with. Healthcare IT News interviewed Laura Mrazik, manager of telehealth at MaineGeneral Health, to discuss best uses and best practices with Zoom so others can learn from MaineGeneral's lessons.
But with the arrival of COVID-19, the organization was challenged with revisiting its telehealth strategy to reduce virus spread while still providing essential care services to its rural communities. " And fourth is Avera eCARE, which allows care for severe COVID-19 patients in the emergency room while minimizing risk to hospital staff.
Here are five companies drawn from the report and beyond – all material is from the company websites: eCaring. “ Modernizing home care -- Behind eCaring is a team that cares a lot about caregiving. Learn more at eCaring. GetSetUp.io Learn more at MedSign. Learn more at Zeppi.
